Do your products carry a warranty?

Yes, all products are warranted by the manufacturers and we provide a warranty on our labor as well, details can vary, see your Sales Consultant.

Do you repair or service existing products?

Yes we provide repair and service to existing products.

 

Do  you install on weekends?

Depending on local municipality restrictions we can install on Saturdays based on availability. Installations on Sundays and evenings based on the need.

Do I need to call to confirm the time of installation?

No, it is not necessary for you to confirm installation appointment. An appointment will be set up at the time of purchase or if delivery time is not available then a sales consultant will contact you to schedule a convenient time.

What geographic area do you service?

We install from Denver to Casper, WY.  We have the capability of shipping product to anywhere in the continental USA.

How can I schedule a free estimate?

You can contact us at 970-535-0461 to schedule. Sales appointments are generally available between 9am and 5pm on weekdays and shorter hours on Saturday.  Evening Appointments are available by special request.

When can I expect my Sales Consultant to arrive?

Your sales consultant will arrive anytime within the two-hour window that you initially selected during appointment set-up.

What products can be installed next day?

Most of our in stock products can be installed the next day:  carpet, ceramic flooring, laminate flooring, hardwood flooring and vinyl flooring.

What types of payments does you accept?

Aesthetic Flooring accepts Cashier Checks, Money Orders, Certified Checks and most major Bankcards.

Can I apply for financing prior to sales appointment?

Yes,  you can come into the store and apply for credit prior to your estimate.

Do you dispose of my old product?

We do offer haul away options; your sales consultant can provide these details.

Do you offer carpet cleaning?

No we do not provide this service.

How do I re-schedule my installation?

When will my installer arrive at my home?

Installers can arrive anytime between 8am and 6pm. Your sales consultant will provide you with a morning or afternoon installation.

Do you move furniture?

Yes, we move basic furniture, but not extremely heavy objects (e.g., pianos, china cabinets, pool tables, floor model televisions, fish tanks, etc.) There is a fee associated with this based on quantity, location and assembly.

Is there a product minimum or limit on purchases?

No, there is no minimum or limit for purchases. There is a minimum installation fee for certain products.

How can I remove dried glue from my laminate flooring?

Dried glue can be removed from laminate flooring using an organic solvent such as white spirit or thinner. Never use cleaning solvent directly on product and spot test in a discrete area before cleaning. Always review your warranty’s condition and exclusions prior to using any solvents.

How do I remove stains from carpet?

Some carpet stains can be removed using a spot cleaning kit, never scrub or brush stains, blotting is recommended. Vacuum the area after cleaning.  Always spot test in a discrete area before using any product.  Always review your warranty's condition and exclusions prior to using any solvents.

How can I repair scratch marks and chips on laminate flooring?

For scratch marks and minor repairs, approved laminate floor filler may correct minor damages. More serious damages may require replacing a plank.

How do I clean my flooring product?

For carpet maintenance, it is essential to regularly vacuum. To maintain stain warranty coverage, carpet must be professional cleaned every 24 months from installation.

For ceramic floor maintenance, do not use any abrasive cleaning product. Ceramic flooring can be cleaned by following cleaning directions on solvents specifically approved to clean tile.

For hardwood flooring maintenance, a lightly moist mop and a simple cleaning solution made with vinegar and water may be used. Following cleaning directions on solvents specifically approved to hardwood flooring can also be tried.

For daily laminate flooring maintenance, a dry dusting with a microfiber cloth is suggested. For occasional cleaning, lightly water spray a microfiber cloth.  If using a cleaning solvent, only use a laminate flooring recommended cleaning solvent. Always review your warranty’s conditions and exclusions prior to using any solvents.

How quickly can installation begin?

We pride ourselves on being able to provide timely installation.  Variables include quantity in stock, availability and lead time.  Most jobs can be completed as soon as the next day or special ordered carpet with in 7-10 days.

What type of carpet is best for my home?

Several factors should be considered before selecting the perfect type of carpet for your home including the area of the home and the amount of traffic a room receives. Your Sales Consultant will help you weigh all of these factors and help you choose the right carpet and pad for your lifestyle and budget.

What type of padding cushion is best for my home?

As with carpet, several types of padding are offered.  Each type comes in different varieties and densities, which determines whether the padding is soft, firm, resilient, or supportive. Your Sales Consultant will help you choose the padding that fits your type of room and the amount of traffic it receives.

What type of warranty is offered on carpet?

All of our manufacturers have excellent warranties . We guarantee the installation on all of our flooring for one full year.

Why is my carpet shedding?

It is not uncommon for new carpet to shed for up to 120 days. The main reason for carpet shedding is due to loose fiber left from the milling process. It is recommended that the carpet be vacuumed frequently to eliminate or minimize the shedding.

Hardwood Flooring

Do you carry hardwood flooring?

We offer a wide variety of solid and engineered hardwood flooring, which is suitable for many installation applications. .  We also offer a 3/4" solid floor in select varieties in both prefinished and raw. .  

Can my hardwood floor be refinished?

Yes, in most cases.  All hardwood flooring may at some time require refinishing depending on age, wear and tear. A traditional refinish refers to the process of stripping your floor and re-applying or changing the stain color. All of our hardwood flooring allows for “screen and recoats,” which is a process similar to a refinish but much less disruptive. A “screen and recoat” allows the finish of the flooring to be restored to its original look without all of the mess of sanding and buffing.

Bamboo Flooring

What is bamboo flooring?

Bamboo flooring is one of the most environmentally-friendly ‘green’ flooring products on the market today. As one of the fastest growing plants on Earth, the bamboo plant it is known for its durability as well as resistance to insects and moisture. Compared to hardwood, bamboo flooring tends to soften a room’s ambiance due to the product’s finish.

How is bamboo flooring cleaned?

For all wood and wood-like flooring, wet spills should be wiped up immediately to prevent warping. A dry mop at least once a week should be used to maintain shine. When using cleaning agents specially formulated for bamboo flooring, it is important to follow the recommended manufacturers’ directions for use. A damp, soft material should be used for cleaning spills, scuff marks or foreign matter that will require a more thorough cleaning. 

Is bamboo flooring subject to moisture?

Bamboo is a natural product and will react to moisture and humidity just as hardwood flooring will. Ensure that you are following the proper care guidelines to maintain the product’s finish. 

Is bamboo flooring scratch-resistant?

Bamboo flooring has similar characteristics as hardwood flooring. Protectors should be placed under the legs of furniture and floor mats to preserve the flooring. To maximize the flooring’s appearance, refrain from dragging or dropping items that may cause scuffs or marks.

What rooms are best suited for bamboo flooring in the home?

Your sales consultant can make recommendations on the areas that will be best suited for your product. Bamboo flooring can be installed in the same home locations that are suitable for hardwood flooring. 

Does the bamboo flooring installation process differ from laminate or hardwood flooring installations?

There are multiple ways to install bamboo flooring, depending on the final application and space function. Your sales consultant can provide additional details regarding the installation process.

What is the warranty for bamboo flooring?

Depending on the manufacturer, bamboo flooring carries a 10-25 year warranty. Your sales consultant can provide you with additional warranty details.

Is bamboo flooring more resistant to wear-and-tear?

Bamboo flooring is known for its durability, but it is subject to the same type of wear-and-tear as hardwood flooring. It needs to be properly maintained using the manufacturer’s recommendations for cleaning and general care.

Laminate Flooring

Do I need to worry about fading?

Our Laminate flooring is highly resistant to sunlight, scratches, stains and burns.

Can a chip in my laminate floor be replaced?

Even though laminate flooring is extremely durable, it is not indestructible. If severe damage to your floor occurs, it is possible to have a single plank replaced without ruining your entire floor.

How is laminate flooring installed?

Laminate flooring is installed using a click or locking system that will give your floor years of solid performance. This installation method does not require glue, so there is virtually no post-installation cleaning required.

Can laminate flooring be installed over my existing floor?

We can install laminate flooring over any level concrete, vinyl, ceramic or hardwood floor.

Vinyl Flooring

How is vinyl flooring installed?

We use manufacturer-approved underlayment's and adhesives to for full spread vinyl installation process. We also have several products which can be loose layed. Your sales consultant can provide more detail regarding the process.

What do I have to do to maintain my vinyl flooring after installation?

After your vinyl flooring installation:

Traffic should be kept to a minimum during the first 48 hours

Loose dirt should be swept from the floor

Wash the floor with a non abrasive floor cleaner; DO NOT USE THE FOLLOWING: soap based detergents, abrasive or mop shine products, ammonias or bleaches, or vacuums with rotating beater bars

Ensure that furniture legs and/or appliances have large surface, non-staining floor protectors

Does vinyl flooring fade?

Almost all flooring shows some damage when exposed to direct sunlight over time. To avoid the effects of direct sun damage, drape or shade any windows that will expose the flooring to direct sunlight, and please be sure to consult your manufacturers’ warranties for further details.

Can a floor cover such as a welcome mat or an area rug be placed on vinyl flooring?

We recommend that you thoroughly read all warranty information prior to placing any rugs or mats on the floor. Rubber-backed rugs or non-ventilated rugs are not recommended for these types of floors.

Is vinyl flooring water resistant?

The product that we install is extremely water resistant; your sales consultant will provide you with further details.

Does vinyl flooring come in different styles and patterns?

Yes, we offer a wide variety of colors and patterns including stone, ceramic and wood looks.

How do I get my vinyl flooring repaired?

If the warranty has not been voided and the product was purchased from us, we can set up an appointment to have a representative come to your home to assess the damage.

Can vinyl flooring be installed over existing flooring?

Yes, we can install vinyl flooring over most existing hard surface flooring. A sales consultant can assist with assessing the floor on site.

Will having multiple layers of old vinyl flooring complicate the installation of new vinyl flooring?

The rule of thumb is maximum of three layers.

Can vinyl flooring be installed over concrete?

Yes, we can install vinyl flooring over concrete. Your sales consultant will be able to provide more details regarding pre-installation requirements once an on-site assessment is completed.

Is an underlayment used for vinyl flooring?

Yes, when necessary we will use plywood underlayment's to install the vinyl flooring.

Who prepares the floor prior to installation?

Our installation crew prepares the floor prior to installation. 

Does the existing flooring have to be removed?

An assessment can be made on a case-by-case basis. In some instances, an existing floor may need to be removed. Other instances may be able to accommodate a new floor installation over an existing floor. Your sales consultant can discuss floor removal options during the visit.

How long does it take to install vinyl flooring?

Vinyl floor installations are normally completed within two business days, depending on size of the room and floor preparation requirements.
